Official Kent County criminal-record questions go to the agency that created or keeps the record. The contacts below route court files to the clerks, Sheriff material to the Records Division, and statewide history questions to Michigan State Police. Kent County Criminal History is a private reference resource, not a government records counter.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated resource cannot retrieve an official criminal record, conduct an official check, correct government data, or receive a Michigan set-aside filing. Those tasks remain with the responsible public office.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that matches the Kent County record:

  • Police and incident reports: ask the law-enforcement agency that wrote the report
  • Arrest, booking, and jail material: use Kent County Jail Viewer or Sheriff Records as the record requires
  • Criminal-history records: contact the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center for ICHAT or personal-record review
  • Court files: use the criminal court case records routes or call the clerk for the court that heard the matter
  • Michigan set-asides: obtain the official forms and file with each court of conviction as instructed
  • Registry questions: contact the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry or the local registering agency
